Q: How do I place an ad?Create a login account on the site, buy credits, then enter your ad information.
Q: How do I create a login account?
- Select the "Create an Account" link in the Login area of any page.
- Enter your information, then select the "Register" button.
- You will receive an email with an activation link that you must click (or copy and paste into your browser) to activate your account.
- After you have activated your account, you may login to purchase credits and place ads.
Q: How do I buy credits?After you login the number of credits you have will display at the top right of the screen.
- To buy credits, click on the "Buy Credits Here" link in the "Your Ad Credits" section of any page. You will be taken to a screen to purchase credits.
- Use the drop-down list under "Amount," to select the number of credits you wish to purchase.
- Select the "Buy Now" button.
- Complete the payment process. We use PayPal for secure payment processing.
You are not required to have a PayPal account to make payment. Payment types accepted are: VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and PayPal.
- Please click the "Return to Lonestar Equine Services link when you see the "Payment has been processed" screen in PayPal. This will finalize your payment with Integrity Horse Sales and return you to our website.
Note: If you do have a PayPal account, you may see the PayPal message noted below, if:
- You do not login to PayPal AND
- You use a credit card to pay and that card is associated with a PayPal account, AND/OR
- You use an email address that is associated with a PayPal account.
PayPal message: "You cannot use an email address or card number that belongs to an existing PayPal account. If you have a PayPal account, please log in. If you don't please change the email address or card number and try again."
Q: If I buy credits with a credit card, how will the charge be listed on my credit card statement?
Our parent company is Lonestar Equine Services. The line on your credit card statement, may have, "LONESTAREQU."
Q: How do I create an ad?
After you have logged-in and purchased credits, you may place an ad.
- Select the "Place An Ad" link at the top of any page.
- Note the color legend at the top of Place An Ad page that tells you which fields are required and which are optional.
- Beside the "Category" field, select the arrow on the drop-down list and click on the category of the ad you wish to create.
- Complete the information for your ad.
Add the URL to a YouTube video of your item and upload pictures of your item at no additional charge.
- At the bottom of the Place An Ad page, beside "Ad Duration," select the drop down arrow and choose the length of time you want your ad to run.
- At the bottom of the Place An Ad page you have the option of making this ad stand out by making it a "featured" or "highlighted" ad.
The number of credits you have are (and that are needed for your new ad) are listed at the bottom of the Place An Ad page.
- Select the "Save" button to create your ad.
Q: Can I edit or delete my ad?Yes.
- Login.
- Select the "My Ads" link at the top of any page.
- Underneath the ad's description are two links, an "Update" and a "Delete" link.
- If you select "Update" a page will display allowing you to edit the fields of the ad. Edit the ad as needed.
- Select the "Save" button to save your changes - or - select the "Cancel" button to discard your changes without saving them.
Q: How long will my classified ad run?Each ad runs for 30 days. You will receive an email 7 days before your ad expires.
For a limited time we are running an introductory offer where each ad purchased will run for 60 days. You get 2 months for the price of 1!
Q: How much does it cost to run a classified ad?At least 10 credits are needed to purchase an ad.
There are two credit packages available for purchase.
- 10 credits for $10.
- 30 credits for $25. That's a discount of over 15%!
Q: How do I renew an ad?
Seven days before your ad expires, you will receive an email notifying you of its upcoming expiration. The email will contain a link for you to click (or copy and paste into your Internet browser) that will take you to the website to renew your ad.
- Click the "cancel and resubmit" link in the Ad Expiration email you receive.
- If you are not logged-in to IntegrityHorseSales.com, you will need to login.
- After logging-in to the site, click the "cancel and resubmit" link in the Ad Expiration email you received, again.
Note: This email is your only link to ad renewal. There is not an ad renewal link on the website.
- You will see a note on the website identifying the ad to be renewed and the date it will expire.
- Click the down-arrow for the drop-down menu beside "Ad Duration" and select the length of time you want the ad to run.
- On this screen you will see how many credits you have. After selecting the ad duration in the step above, you will see how many credits are needed to place this ad.
- Select the "Renew" button. A message will display at the top of the screen verifying that your ad has been renewed.
Important: This process does NOT add the additional duration to your existing ad. Instead, it effectively cancels and re-starts the same ad, with a starting date of the date you click the Renew button.
Q: Can I mark my ad as being SOLD or price reduced?Yes.
- Login.
- Select the "My Ads" link at the top of any page.
- Underneath the ad's description are two links, an "Update" and a "Delete" link.
- If you select "Update" a page will display allowing you to edit the fields of the ad.
- Locate the "Status" field and using the drop-down list, change the status to "SOLD" or "Reduced" as appropriate.
- Select the "Save" button to save your changes - or - select the "Cancel" button to discard your changes without saving them.
Q: Is there an additional charge to add pictures to my classified ad?
No.
Q: What are the picture upload requirements?Up to four pictures may be added to each ad. The file formats accepted are: jpg, gif and png. The maximum picture filesize is 512KB.
Q: Is there an additional charge to add a video to my classified ad?No.
Q: How do I add a video to my classified ad?Upload the video to YouTube.com. When you create your ad on IntegrityHorseSales.com, enter the share URL from YouTube into the "Video" field.
Q: What are featured and highlighted ads?Featured ads appear on this site on the home page and in the sidebar of the other pages. The featured ads rotate/change each time a new page on the site is visited. It costs 5 credits to make your ad a featured ad.
Highlighted ads have a darker background color behind them so they standout from the non-highlighted ads. It costs 2 credits to make your ad a highlighted ad.
Q: My picture is too big to upload to my ad. How do I make it smaller?There is an online image resizer, called Image Optimizer at:

- In the "Optimize Now" section of the screen, select the "Browse" button to locate the picture you want to use on the web.
- The Quality may be set to Normal.
- Set both the maximum width and height to 600.
- Select the "Optimize Now" button.
- Wait. The larger the image, the longer the conversion will take.
- The screen will change when the image has been optimized, with notes about the changes made.
- Click "Download to Your Computer." Save the optimized file to your computer. By default the picture will have "Optimized-" added to the front of the filename. This will make it easier to identify the picture when you are ready to upload it to an ad on your website.
